Artist's shortcoming
So you think that a text is enough when it comes to expressing parts of your soul,
Well guess what?
You're utterly wrong!
Not to use the F* word
And to play pretend like the rest of the world.
I know it's easier to hide
behind some virtual walls
and then insensibly
call me insane
for trying to understand
and genuinely wanting to communicate.
"We all have different ways in which we communicate, Mirela!"
You'll admonish me.
"Say what again?"
I'll use instead of refrain.
I always thought that this "little thing" goes both ways,
the communication, I mean.
Oh, silly me,
so people want to "communicate" only when it's convenient for them,
not when it hurts,
not when it's deep,
none of this shit.
Let's just act like sheep
and ignore the wolves in our souls
maybe nobody will notice the silent roars.
OK, world! Have it your way:
let's not talk about it,
actually let't not talk about anything,
let's just hide it under the rug
and hope it won't come back hunting us.
Anyways I guess it's more facile to do it the detached way
and not give a damn
like we're living in no mans land.
I promise you one thing though,
and most of all I pledge to my soul
to never again care in such "crazy" mundane ways;
to get involved only a few grams,
and to get the heck down
from the stars I've been wandering so far...
One last thing:
