Come Alive

 What makes me come Alive?

The starry night,

Each and every person with whom I truly vibe,

The sacred stage,

The holy shooting camera,

Each piece of art within,

Each moment that I don’t hold back

Unstained divinity,

A genuine smile,

Exuberant kindness,

A heartfelt compliment,

A helping hand whenever I’m down,

A tap on the back when I need it most,

The Sun despite the clouds,

The Rain despite the Sun,

The Rainbow of human emotions,

Tears of joy,

Self-love without being coy,

An honest conversation,

An incredible connection,

Dancing in the rain,

Being still in the heat,

Singing with all of my heart even if my pitch is not perfect,

Forgiving myself even if it wasn’t worth it,

French fries, chocolate and wine,

No regrets!

Barefoot in the fresh grass,

Wandering through nature,

Admiring cities architecture,

Traveling inside-out and world-wide,

Paying forward the knowledge,

Taking photos, lots of them,

To capture these fleeting moments,

Keeping and sharing secrets,

Feeling important,

Feeling accomplished,

Feeling wanted,

Feeling loved, 

Feeling!... 

Getting out of my head and into my body,

Getting out of the comfort zone,

Practicing sports religiously,

Trying something new

Despite any fright…

Puppies , especially golden retrievers,

Sleeping until noon,

Staring at the moon,

Day - dreaming,

Taking action when I feel like it,

Standing up for myself and others,

Speaking my truth,

Meditating and slow eating,

Trying to sync with my breathing,

Saying what hurts,

Accepting apologies 

But setting boundaries,

Opening up to a therapist,

Listening to my classical playlist,

Great ideas,

Sublime music,

Inspiring people,

Being inspired by them,

Sweet love making,

Long baths,

Short maths,

Poignant comedies,

Intriguing plots,

Lively books,

Good looks,

True friendship 

Untethered freedom,

The writing muses,

Moments of solitude,

Refined feelings,

The awareness to recharge,

Gratitude served daily,

Making a difference in the world,

Caring leaders,

Not getting so caught up in my own thoughts,

Leaving room for some surprise,

Not falling into despise,

Being nice without any expectations,

Playing without explanations…

… These and many more sparkle my soul,
